Acknowledged as one of the most noteworthy magicians of Bermuda for the past 25 years, Marshall Weller, a.k.a. The Marshall of Magic’s ability to perform a diverse selection of magic and artistic genres sets him apart from his peers.

Marshall’s magic spark was lit around the age of 8 years old, when his father showed him a simple card trick. Marshall’s curiosity as to how the trick worked, started his love affair with the world of illusion. Around this same time, he met one of his older brother’s friends, Bishop Moore, who was a local magician. Bishop gave Marshall a small magic kit to practice with and demonstrated a few of the tricks. During the year that followed, Marshall was taken on a trip to Disney World. There was an arcade near to his hotel which also housed a magic shop where the local magician used to perform once a night on a mini cabaret stage – he never missed a show. When he returned home to Bermuda, magic had become a part of his DNA.

At the age of 21, he chose the art of magic over many other hobbies (see Hobby page) and focused on establishing a magic production company called Island Boy Magic, which ran successfully for 7 years.  Marshall also established the first Magic Club on the Island and trained many people, including children, in the art of magic.  Many local magicians and international artists were showcased in the Island Boy Magic productions, as well as children from the club. During these years, The Marshall of Magic was offered numerous shows in night clubs, bars, and restaurants. He reached the pinnacle of his efforts and dedication when he began receiving invitations to perform in theatre shows both locally and internationally. 

Marshall’s passion for all things magical remains a strong force in his life, his repertoire has continued to expand and improve. His unique sleight of hand magic has awed and mesmerized international celebrities like; Tyrese, singer and actor, Alan Kalter of the Tonight Show and the audience of the Masacote Theatre Show in Boston among other private audiences throughout the US and Canada. His greatest feeling of success comes from seeing that glimmer of amazement in the eyes of his audience.
